In traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture is linked to the belief that disease is caused by disruptions to the flow of energy, or qi, in the body. When this energy becomes stagnant or deficient imbalances and disease arise in the body. Acupuncture stimulates points under the skin releasing this qi. The qi then travels through channels called meridians, encouraging the body back to health.
Acupuncture is successful in treating a range of imbalances in the body, including:
- Muscle injuries and spasms
- Digestive disorders
- Supports fertility and IVF
- Pregnancy Support
- Chronic pain
- Headaches and migraines
