About our Reiki Training
All our Reiki training courses are taught by Christine Courtney.
We teach Reiki in three levels:
Level Three – taught over in two parts, Level Three part one and two
What is Ushi Reiki Ryoho?
Ushi Reiki Ryoho is a Reiki healing system devised by Mikao Ushi in 1930’s for the purpose of physical healing, personal growth and spiritual awakening.
At its basic level it is a great aid for relaxation, but it also offers a number of meditation tools and healing rituals and practices to help you connect with your own bright light.
Reiki Level Two
Pre-Requisite is level one, which can be taken with any teacher
Reiki Level Two focuses on the inner teachings of Ushi Reiki Ryoho
Second degree Reiki is known as the mental/emotional level. It helps you get in touch with your emotions, become aware of how they affect the quality of your life and heal learned patterns of behaviour.
It also assists you in giving expression to your intuition in our daily life
The two-day workshop will cover:
- Level two attunement
- Reiki symbols – you will learn the Western use of symbols in hands on healing and the Japanese use of symbols as mantras and in meditation
- Distant healing
- Japanese treatment methods
- Daily practices to support your practice of Reiki
- Using the 5 Reiki principles in daily practice to enrich your life
At Reiki two you learn how to “become” Reiki.
Why take this course?
Reiki Level Two deepens your practice of Reiki from doing Reiki to becoming Reiki and many people take this course just to go deeper in their use of Reiki and include distant healing in their practice
Becoming a Reiki Practitioner
If you would like to become a Reiki Practitioner and work on clients, you must take this level. You must also complete training in:

What is unique about how Christine teaches Reiki
Reiki as a healing modality existed before Mikao Usui developed his Reiki Healing System which he called Usui Reiki Ryoho.
When he went to Mount Kurama to meditate he was looking for a way to find his life path and to help other to find theirs. This is a type of enlightenment called An-shin Ritus-mei.
Christine teaches Reiki to help you find your path in life and offers Ushi’s daily practices to support that journey. She also teaches the student how to use Reiki as a method of personal growth and well-being.
