Relax, Restore, Rejuvenate
10am. Arrive, registration and settle in to start your nourishing retreat.
10.15am Opening circle, introductions.
10.30am Starting out your day with a Hatha Yoga Session
Whether you are new to Yoga, or want to go deeper into your current Yoga practice, this session will provide the space for you to explore your body and mind.
12.30pm As our Yoga practice finishes, we have prepared our body for a group meditation. We have a short break allowing you space to journal, reflect or have some tea.
12.45pm Group meditation
Exploring meditation techniques in a non dogmatic way and find practical ways to bring meditation into your daily life.
1.30pm – 3pm Time for lunch, chat with your fellow yogis and allow some digestion and relaxation!
3pm. Yin Yoga Session.
This quiet introspective Yoga practice will allow you to really work on the body mind connection.
Yin Yoga reduces stress, improves flexibility, emotional, mental health & your well being. This session will give you the space to breathe and connect with self.
5pm Closing Circle and Finish.
Places are limited to 12 – so early booking is advisable.
What you get out of the retreat;

• Space to renew, breathe and venture inward.
• After this day you will feel calmer, centred, grounded, rooted & relaxed.
What do I need to bring?
Dress comfortably, wear stretchy or non restrictive clothing, bring a towel, cushion, blanket & a water bottle (you can refill at Obus).
Also bring a notebook & pen if you’d like to journal & anything else you’d like to have with you to make yourself more comfortable.
You can also bring your own Yoga mat if you have one, as they are your personal space for practice – but they are available for the day if you don’t have your own.
Hopefully it will be a lovely weekend weather wise but for our outdoor meditation session please make sure you bring a rain jacket & enough warm clothes (don’t forget hat & gloves if you feel the cold!) for a gentle walk outside, with appropriate footwear such as runners.
Bring no expectations of yourself – just stretch, bend and move.
Accommodation and food are not included in the retreat price. So depending on where you are traveling from you need to make your own arrangements according to your taste and budget. There are a number of accommodation and eating options in the locality – see “about us page”
Is it suitable for beginners to attend?
Yes – whatever your level there is something in this retreat for you.
During practice we listen to our own bodies and their are options and modifications to suit everyone.

Things to do; Optional
You can explore this rich area while you are here for the weekend, taking in the quiet banks of the river Liffey as it flows through St. Catherine’s Park while going for a stroll. There’s Leixlip Castle and grounds to explore too. There are a number of nice places to sample local food too. Or you may decide to completely relax for your retreat with a bath & a book in your accommodation! You decide!
About your yoga, meditation and sound bath therapist:
Who am I? My name is Mary Gunning. I’m a Yoga teacher, Reiki practitioner, Meditation teacher, Sound Healer, Adventure Sports instructor and Expedition Trek Leader. I’m passionate about nature, travel and a lover of life.
Teaching is my passion, and to watch others learn a skill and grow in their their potential is very rewarding. Especially when they find something that they didn’t even really know existed and they excel at it – with a natural proficiency that’s astounding.
Or to see people push through the boundaries that may have unknowingly set themselves and the realisation of their potential that comes with that.
As a Sound therapist and Yoga teacher what I love is providing a safe space for people to just be and to share in their journey to question, compassion, kindness and self acceptance.
